KNS AR15/M16 Spade Grip Accessory
Now you can rock & roll like the BIG BOYS! Our SPADE GRIP attachment is easy on, easy off -- with no modification to your rifle. Will work on semi-auto, or full auto rifles, drop-in auto sear or lightning link equipped AR-15s and, of course, M-16's for the lucky guys who have 'em.
Instructions: Remove upper receiver.
This accessory is designed for use with the carbine buffer tube and buffer included in this kit. Install the buffer tube and buffer being careful not to lose the take-down pin detent and spring from the rear of the receiver.
Install trigger housing assembly on the right side of the receiver. Attach left side cover with two 8-32 buttonhead screws. Do NOT overtighten.
Slide spade grip assembly over buffer tube with trigger rod feeding through trigger actuator. The bottom rear of the buffer tube should be approximately even with the two socket head cap screws below.
Slowly screw in bottom set of screws being sure they center and bottom in a buffer tube locking hole.
WARNING: The gun may inadvertently fire if these screws are not seated in the buffer tube holes. Do NOT excessively tighten, snug only, as buffer tube will be damaged.
Slowly screw trigger guard tube out until it bottoms lightly inside the spade grip housing. Next install one trigger rod 8-32 nut on rod and turn until it bottoms against trigger actuator. This MUST be done with the upper removed and the hammer cocked.
After installing trigger rod nut, push butterfly to release hammer being careful not to let hammer slam forward. If hammer does not release, tighten rod nut 1/4 turn and retry until hammer releases.
Cock the hammer a second time and try releasing the hammer again. If hammer does not release, trigger rod is too tight. Back off trigger rod nut. Tighten jam nut against trigger rod nut being careful not to change adjustment.
Installation is now complete.
